I haven't done a very good job at keeping my blog up to date, so I am going to try to do better. I'm going to try to get caught up over the next week or so. So here I go:
A few weeks ago we went to Pine View Reservoir with some of Michael's family. His sister Cammie and her husband Heiko just recently bought a boat after going quite a few years without one. The weather was perfect and we had a blast. Above is a picture of Cody helping to bury Colton in the sand.
The kids had so much fun playing on the beach. The beaches are so sandy and perfect for sand castles.
This was Brylie and Cody's first time on a boat. Brylie loved it and Cody didn't. Cody was so nervous when we took off. He yelled at his Grandpa to sit down in his seat. He didn't want anyone getting up. Then when we stopped to get Colton set up to wakeboard, Cody realized that the boat was floating in the water and he lost it! For some reason us floating in the water was not okay with him. Needless to say we soon took Cody back to shore where he happily stayed the rest of the day.
Here is Brylie and Austin going on the tube. Brylie is our little dare devil and she is always willing to try anything.
Michael's Dad, Michael, Kyla and Dave hanging out on the beach.
Brylie and Aysia swimming with their life jackets on. It was the end of September and the water was chilly. I guess kids will get in the water no matter what. The adults only got in the water when we had to so that we could ski.
Cody had so much fun on the beach. He literally played for 8 hours straight in the sand. He was so tired but he wouldn't nap or do anything else but play in the sand.
Michael wakeboarding. Fortunately there aren't any good pictures of me wakeboarding (cause I didn't get up for very long).
